Closing the Gap-Cultural Competency in Health and Human Services

The changing nature of the health care field has magnified cultural issues facing the U.S. and the New Mexico Department of Health. Recognizing the diversity of culture and the different ways to health, the NMDOH offers this nationally accredited training from The Cross Cultural Health Care Program to begin the conversation towards quality health care that is culturally appropriate for all New Mexicans.

What:  In-person training

Where:  San Juan County Public Health Office, Farmington, NM

When:  August 23, 2017 from 8:30 am-4:00 pm

Cost:  FREE, but you must register to attend.
